Cycle to School Week 2026
Monday 5th - Friday 9th October
Schools and families across the nation will be taking a new route to the school gate — one that’s quicker, healthier, cheaper and a whole lot more fun.
Cycle to School Week is a national celebration of everyday cycling. Whether you’re already rolling or just getting started, it’s your chance to build confidence, try something new, and discover how good the school run can feel on wheels.

Coordinated by Living Streets, Walk to School Week 2026 saw over 260,000 pupils and more than 800 schools take part this year.
Pupils were encouraged to walk, wheel, cycle, scoot or Park and Stride to school every day of the week from 18 to 22 May. With our classroom packs, pupils could track their progress on a brightly coloured wallchart and earned stickers as they went, along with a special reward at the end of the week.
